I had a great time on the cruise , staff were very friendly and helpful starting from our room 10150 steward Danielle who was always there to help with a big smile no problem to big or small. he was always there could not speak more highly of him a perfect gentleman. to our waiters in the waterfront Jerome, Alex and Fatima on table 220 who were fantastic at there job always with a big smile when we entered the restaurant, very very good at there job once again could not speak more highly of them. I really cannot speak badly of any of the staff on board.

My only disappointment was the treatment of a member of our group who was treated or lack of it after the ceiling outside her cabin 10159 collapsed hitting her on the head leaving her with a nasty bump on the back of her head and instead of treating her were more worried about filling in paperwork and who was paying for any medical treatment she would receive, spent less than half hour before being sent back to her room. not once over the next couple of days asking weather she was alright.Just found out today 22-02-2019 after an m.r.i scan that she was heavily concussed. So i think that you seriously should look at improving this department of your your ship before something like this could happen again. Thanking you Natale.

Just love this ship, staff are excellent, food was divine especially Dragon Lady and entertainment was great. Moreton Island was just beautiful and snorkelling the wrecks was a real hi light. So many fish species and clear water.

Only 4 nights which wasn't enough. We loved this cruise, loved the ship and had an amazing time on the whale watching shore trip. Love the fit out of "Dora" and will definitely be back on board this beautiful ship

Well I was sure that booking in May for a november/december cruise would assure me a good cabin...never had a problem before. So our first holiday as a couple is booked paid the premium for a balcony Queen bed room, but on cabin allocation we were assigned a quad share room that is one of only a hand full that cannot be reconfigured. 6 foot 4 inch partner in a bunk bed very romantic. only after 4 days of this horrendous sleeping arrangement and many tears did anyone onboard do anything. eventually got moved down 4 decks to an obstructed cabin thankfully with a queen bed. To say it ruined what was to be a romantic birthday cruise is an understatement but at least we know as a couple we can cope with issues and still smile. I could have saved myself many dollars and booked an obstructed view if that is what I wanted. Lesson dont think you will get what you have asked and paid for, the devil is in the fine print that allows this sort of shonky practice to go on.

We upgraded our balcony to a suite, and found all the extras and size was worth every cent! This ship is quite small, but absolutely gorgeous. A recent refurbishment gave it a modern twist with luscious colours and fabrics. We ate at all the restaurants (included and extra) and never had a bad meal. The service was impeccable, our cabin was always spotless with ample supplies.
We went to all shows (pays to go a bit early to get a seat), and there was plenty of daytime entertainment for the young and old. Our favourite spot was the oasis aft on deck 10. Child free zone, with a bar, pool and either a musician or a dj. We visited Hamilton Island and an overnight stay in Cairns. Fabulous places for shopping, walks and diving.

I just spent 7 days on the Dawn it was supposed to be a relaxing cruise but myself and 50 other couples were not happy becsuse we booked the cruise out of school holidays and there were 250 children on board the majority of them not supervised we could not even use the pool because the children were in it the whole time .PO gave the children free not fair .i would like a free cruise to compensate as would the other people. The children were in the Casino at all hours of the night with no adults not good .otherwise the food entertainment crew were great.

We have enjoyed all our P&O and overseas cruises however when we decided to do our mini cruise to Hamilton Island on the Aria we were pleasantly surprised and actually enjoyed being on a smaller ship. So easy to find our way around! We loved the pool atmosphere with open/close roof and the Art Deco design throughout the ship....we are off again very soon... this time to Fraser Island. Feeling confidet everything....including the food will be as excellent as last time

That was the first time we have cruised on the Aria and it will not be the last. The Pantry is a great improvement on the Plantation, which we previously experienced on the Dawn - although that has changed now. There were no great delays with people picking through food as there was with the Plantation. The entertainment was the usual standard - while not being fantastic was quite ok. My only complaint is that the air conditioner control did nothing to alter the sub-zero temperature(felt like it), in the cabin. Fortunately we did not have to spend a lot of time in there except for sleeping. If that ever occurs again I'll be making plenty of noise. All of the crew I encountered were very friendly and helpful, with even those we passed in the corridor being cheerful. Overall I prefer the Aria to the Dawn - which was also good.

This was our 2nd cruise on Pacific Aria and our 4th P&O cruise; and probably our last! I want to be clear that I do not have an issue with the ship, the cabin, the entertainment or the crew (for the most part).
I DO have an issue with the penny-pinching decline in standards in the catering departments!
Since our first P&O cruise in 2015 on the Pacific Dawn, we have seen the quality, the quantity, the variety and the general standard of food declining exponentially.
The Waterfront menu is now a very sad, boring and unappealing ghost of what it was 3 short years ago.
Menu choices have more than halved, and portion sizes have been reduced.
Standard items from the old menu, such as Pasta courses and vegetable sides have been removed.
On this last cruise, pretty much the only vegetables available, was a woefully bland mixture of mainly turnip and swede.
Dessert choices are a joke. Maybe 4 selections, one of which is fruit and the other cheese. The so-called desserts that are on the menu are pretty underwhelming! No WOW factor as of old.
Service was slow and disorganized, and food was rarely hot.
Add to that, that previous favourite staples, like steak, are now on the menu as 'specials' which P&O feel justified in stinging you $17.000 for! What a joke!!
The Pantry, which is not a patch on the old buffet, was uniformly appalling on this trip.
Food on the serveries was barely warm, and much of the time cold, especially at breakfast.
The Pantry food suffers from a never-ending sameness day after day, and the fact that on this trip food was often under-cooked, over-cooked or dried out did little to whet the appetite.
The only light in the darkness was the Dragon Lady and Angelo's especially, where food was decent and service was excellent.
I don't have a problem with anybody making a reasonable profit, but P&O are taking the mickey charging what they do for such pedestrian food, which makes a shopping mall food precinct seem like haute cuisine.
If you want to throw your money away on second rate cruising, be my guest.
P&O won't be seeing us on one of their ships in a big hurry, that's for sure!

We had our 1st cruise and went on P & O Aria. We had a good cruise from Brisbane to Cairns and back. Crew and entertainment great. Food generally good. Luke Mangans Salt restaurant was not worth the money. It was second rate.
